Maestro is an American Bashkir Curly Horse gelding with a curious and kind personality. He is pretty mellow most of the time; however, he can be headstrong and has no issue letting you know when he has something on his mind - or an itch he needs help reaching. Curly horses are known for their unruffle-able and inquisitive demeanor, gentle disposition, and love of human companionship. We can attest to Maestro’s desire to investigate everything and learn new things.

Registered at Martini Tangueray Gin Olive, just "Olive" to her friends, she is an Andalusian Thoroughbred Cross mare with a sweet disposition and a brilliant mind. She is transparent and open in communication, and once you have her trust, she is sweet as pie and incredibly attentive. Belly and bum scratches are the fastest way to keep her close, but you have to work hard to gain respect. Olive observes everything and thinks through her options before acting.

Mama Mia is a rescue from a shelter in Indiana, PA in summer 2024. She is a terrific partner on the farm, spending all day outside adventuring, hunting rodents, attempting to herd horses - living her best dog life on our 65 acres. She takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, but she’s an absolute cuddlebug once you gain her trust. She doesn’t like vehicles much, but will follow behind on foot everywhere on the property. Mia fears nothing, except storms and missing meal time.

Kola is a gray Russian Arabian gelding and our newest horse addition to the crew. He is happy to let Maestro and Olive take the lead in the herd, but don’t mistake his kind nature for weakness. He is incredibly curious and very brave with any new challenge or task. Kola’s very favorite is scratches and rubs on his neck and chest - he’ll stand for hours for grooming and pets. He loves to adventure on the property and investigates all new terrain fearlessly - and with speed, agility, and absolutely stunning grace.

Hercules is our only donkey and an absolute joy to have in the herd. He is a total troublemaker and a kind, gentle soul. He does stick up for himself and Kola, when needed; he’s developed quite a friendship with Maestro straight away, too. He might have a hard time keeping up with the pace of the horses with his little legs, but he is never far from the herd - usually he’s at the center of any antics and shenanigans. He loves scratches most of all and will find a way to use any surface (humans included) for rubs.
